Philip E. Harriman, CLU, ChFC

MDRT's President Philip Harriman of Yarmouth, Maine, has been an MDRT member since 1983 and has eight distinguished Top of the Table and four Court of the Table honors. A generous contributor to the MDRT Foundation as a Foundation Diamond Knight, he has been involved in nearly 30 Round Table committees.

A Partner in Lebel & Harriman, LLP, his firm specializes in retirement, investment and estate planning. When he is not busy with his practice, Phil is traveling the U.S. and the globe speaking on a variety of topics including estate planning, business succession and leadership.

Phil is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, the National Association of Securities Dealers, NAIFA, Society of Financial Service Professionals, a past executive committee member of the Maine Estate Planning Council, and he was the 2000 recipient of the J. Putnam Stevens Award for his outstanding contributions to the life insurance profession.

His civic involvement includes four terms, 1992—2000, as a Senator in Maine representing the 23rd District and being involved in more than 20 local organizations and community boards.
