Micki Hoesly entered the financial services business twenty-nine years ago with Mutual of New York which is now part of AXA Advisors, LLC.
Along with her BS in Business Management, she has earned degrees as Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and a Masters of Science in Financial Services with the American College. Micki earned her Master of Urban Studies Degree in 1999 and is a Ph.D. candidate at Old Dominion University.
In 1983, Micki began her own company, Capital Resources, specializing in pensions. She received her designation of CPC (Certified Pension Consultant) and QPA (Qualified Pension Administrator) through the American Society of Pension Actuaries. Micki is also principal of Resource One, a Registered Investment Advisory firm. She is a 28 year Qualifying and Life member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a member of the Top of the Table. She has been quoted on financial issues by such major publications as The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times and Kiplingers.
In 1985 she helped to organize the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Virginia and served as president of the founding board. She was presented with the 1992 Sertoma District Award for Outstanding Service to Mankind.
